HON CARLO'S AHENKORAH EMPOWERS OVER 600 WOMEN WITH SKILLS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

 

 

Hon Carlos Ahenkorah the member of parliamentt of Tema West costituency has awarded over 600 women with a skilled training certificate after a one week succeessful intensive skilled training in the cosntituency over the week.

The programe brought togethr both the young and old who have been looking foward to achieve a life time skills to enable them to meet the ends needs and become independent and self employed through Beads making, Make-up & Cosmetology, Soap making,Pastries,Sewing, Hair dressing,Local drinks and many to mention.

Skill Trainnig Programs has always been a norm of the memeber of Parliament of Tema West since he took over the seat, and for that matter he has organized numerous of that with this being the second of it kind in the year 2020.

 Hon Carlos , the workaholic MP promises to Organize another section of the Skills Development Training at Lashibi for the women within that  locality to also to have a fair share of his service to the constituency.

 



DCE CAUTIONS CATERERS OVER LOW STANDARD FOOD PACKAGES

Offinso North DCE cautions Caterers in-charge of Gov't hot meal for students to prepare quality food for the children

 

Hon. David Akwasi Asare Boakye affecti  DCE for Offinso North District has cautioned Caterers in-charge of school feeding to prepare quality meals for the students or stand the risk of loosing the oppotunity to serve on the programe .

According to him some of the caterers are bringing down the value of the initaitve of the govenment with low standedard value foodpacks.

 

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo in his partial reopening of schools in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic has commissioned a one hot meal daily for all form 3 SHS/JHS students & Teachers and those in form 2 are to join in the coming weeks, but there have been a number of complaints of some low standard and unpalatable services by some caterers accross the country.

 

At a meeting with all the stakeholders on school feeding program in the Offinso North District, Hon. David Kwasi Asare Boakye stated categorically that he will not sit down as DCE for any caterer to prepare any meals for the students that will bring shame to him and President Akuffo Addo.

POOR ROAD NETWORK- A DEATH TRAP FOR RESIDENTS

Residents of Sukwai a farming community in Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region are crying fowl over the threat death trap roads in the constituency imposes on the lives of people who access it.

 

Holes on the roads have been termed as manholes instead of potholes due to it deplorable nature and the number of accidents in courses in daily bases, this has compelled commercial drivers to stop providing service to residence, and the situation is affecting progress of business in the constituency.

 

Frustrated residents expresses disappointment in both the past MP and incumbent MP HON. Owusu Bio for the inability to construct good roads in the constituency to reduce the accident rate in the constituency .

 

According to them the Politicians have taken advantage of them ,and for that matter they only appear to give numerous promises only when they need their votes but vanishes after every elections .

 

The resident are calling on Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo the President of Ghana to factor Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in his year of roads list to enable them to be part of the beneficiaries if he needs a vote from them in the 2020 Elections.
